I ordered up a size because I normally wear a size XS for a form fitted look but this time I ordered the medium to layer my sweaters and scar underneath. This coat looks amazing oversized and really keeps me warm during the early winters. The quality is awesome and the brand is doing a great job.
when i opened the box i was immediately drawn by the color...it’s perfect mix between like a lighter mauve/millennial pink/rose. the texture is similar to the “teddy bear” style coats but the texture isn’t as long. i put it on and it felt like a nice warm fuzzy blanket that just effortlessly draped over me. i am a true medium but i carry some more weight in my upper back and this coat does not feel too tight in the shoulder area as some can for me. it seems like it stretches a little bit and is not too light or too heavy. i’m surprised of the warmth it gives for how lightweight it feels. i can dress it up and dress it town and it feels so stylish either way. i’ve gotten so many compliments. i wish it came in black, i would purchase that too! if you are thinking about this coat, definitely go for it!
I love this coat. I ordered the XS and it is a perfect fit. It is a nice full length too. The way it is cut does not leave much room for lots of layers, but a few is no problem. I am 5'2'', b(32"), w(26"),h(32").
Thanks for making cruelty-free affordable, fun and stylish!
Super cute and comfy. Not windproof. Not waterproof/DWR. However, the fabric feels soft and drapes well. The lining appears to be a muslin-type viscose, the outer fabric is 100% poly, and the buttons are plastic. I'm almost thinking of replacing the lining to something more windproof, but I'm more than happy with this lighter-weight coat for San Francisco weather in the winter. However, this is definitely not for those who run cold and need a heavy duty coat for Minnesota winter weather.
As for sizing, my shoulders measure 15", bust 32", waist 27" and hips 38", and consider myself to be a smedium (small-medium). I ordered a medium since I like to layer, and I think it was the right choice. While I don't feel like the coat runs small and the boxy nature of this coat helps with that, I bet a small would have worked size-wise. However, I'm not sure if I'd be able to layer as much as I like had I ordered that size.
I hope Noize considers making something with this outer fabric or other fabrics with similar drape with a wind-proof lining and something less boxy (think belted waist, classic single-breasted, slimmer lapel, slightly dressy, multiple color options? Is that too much to ask? haha). Otherwise, I love the drape of the fabric. Thanks for making cool vegan coats that don't cost $$$$, Noize!
